Hmmmm...The NEA does not like a continuation of Bush's education policies, especially when a funding model guaranteeing losers is used. No surprises there.
Either I'm becoming disillusioned or a cynic.
Seriously, though, I remember being hopeful when Obama spoke about education, and then I heard more and more of his ideas and then I heard who the Secretary of Education choice was and then I read the studies about Chicago schools (the model for national reform), and now I can't wait to see him go.
